Our journey started back in 2019 with an invention by French designer Maxime Augay. He wanted to fulfill a personal need for a product that acts like a range hood; filtering cooking fumes, without any installation required. This led to his groundbreaking and award winning design, creating the first portable “AirHood” prototype. It caught the eye of Markus Buck, working in the kitchen appliance industry in Hong Kong. 
In 2022, we launched our product on Kickstarter and Indiegogo, and raised more than half a million US dollars, signaling that there was a real demand for our innovative solution. We are now onto our 2nd version of the original AirHood and will continue to work on enhancing and perfecting our small yet powerful kitchen air cleaner.
