Why Choose SPC?
-
SPC is more than an intermediary between manufacturers and clients. Our core strength lies in a deep understanding of products, supported by extensive technical expertise — from product design and engineering to quality control and inspection. These in-house capabilities enable us to consistently deliver high product quality at competitive cost.
-
We recognize that every client operates under different conditions. Capabilities, timelines, and requirements can vary significantly from project to project. SPC therefore develops tailored solutions that align closely with each client’s specific business context, maximizing efficiency and the likelihood of project success.
-
Our production network is built for scalability. Working with experienced manufacturing partners accustomed to high-volume production, we can flexibly adjust capacity to meet changing demand — supporting everything from initial market entry to large-scale growth.
-
Strong partnerships are the foundation of efficient project execution. Through long-standing relationships with manufacturers and a broad network of specialized service providers — covering areas such as prototyping, certification, technical documentation, and compliance — we ensure seamless coordination across all project phases. This integrated approach minimizes risk, prevents delays, and creates a reliable, transparent process for all stakeholders.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes, absolutely. We frequently work with clients starting from an early-stage idea. In fact, this allows us to contribute most effectively — helping to shape product requirements and specifications from the ground up. Early involvement also enables us to consider cost implications and identify potential safety or certification requirements before they become critical issues.
-
As early as possible. Early involvement allows us to fully leverage our team’s expertise, structure the development process efficiently, and avoid unnecessary iterations later on.
-
We offer OEM, ODM, and full end-to-end development services. The most suitable model depends on your starting point and project goals. A detailed overview is available on our “Collaboration Models” page, and we are always happy to provide tailored guidance based on your specific requirements.
-
IP ownership depends on the chosen collaboration model and your initial contribution. In OEM projects, the customer typically provides and retains their IP, while ODM projects are often based on existing designs owned by the manufacturer. For end-to-end development projects, we ensure that all newly developed IP within the project is fully owned by you.
-
MOQs vary depending on product size and value. For household electronics, initial orders typically align with the capacity of a 20-foot container, as smaller volumes are often not cost-efficient from a logistics perspective. Lower quantities may be possible but require case-by-case alignment with the manufacturer.
-
Yes, comprehensive certification support is part of our service. Our in-house experts are involved from the early development stages and coordinate closely with testing laboratories to ensure a smooth certification process and avoid delays.
-
Our manufacturing partners are primarily based in the People’s Republic of China. Some partners also operate additional production facilities in other regions, providing flexibility where required.
